Creative Cheng

Oh the things Cheng comes up with! His artistic endeavors can sometimes leave you puzzled, but they never disappoint. Especially when he’s making you a part of the process too. Whether he is casting your face in plaster or you’re taking a trip to the scrap yard, his friends know there’s never a dull moment with Creative Cheng. When his friend is suffering from a horrible case of writer’s block, they know Cheng knows how to get those creative juices flowing. When his sister’s looking to transform her wardrobe, she knows Cheng won’t hesitate to go on an all-day shopping spree with her. Or when his former classmate offhandedly said he wanted to redecorate his apartment, Cheng was already there moving things around and suggesting a new color palette.

While he has always been artistically inclined, people didn’t always appreciate his talents. In grade school, his teachers scolded him for doodling in class. In middle school, he ate lunch alone because his peers through his eccentric ideas and stories made him weird. But in high school, he found his people. Other artists and creatives who showed that being himself wasn’t a bad thing. There he blossomed into his most true self, never letting others take away his sparkle.

There’s never a problem Cheng can’t find a creative solution to, and he is prepared for any creative emergency. Wardrobe malfunction? Cheng’s already with the sewing kit, so when he had to tear off some fabric from his shirt, he was getting tired of that style anyways. And after a long night of lucid dreaming, he turns to his bedside table to record his new inspirations in his dream journal before he forgets.
