Smiley Sam

Sam is a man of few words, but one look tells you everything you need to know. With one flash of his pearly whites, and you’ll be smiling too! When his friends are having a bad day, he offers a kind reassurance with a smile that says “It’s going to be okay”. When walking into work, a local coffee shop, or a friend’s house his smile beams across the room with shining excellence. His friends know he will be there to support him on their worst days, baristas and sales representatives remember his smile for weeks after seeing him, and his coworkers know that when Smiley Sam walks in the office gets a whole lot happier. Even the grumpiest of grumps can’t help but return his smiles!

Ever since he was a child, he could be counted on to spread his infectious smile to those around him. While his father was struggling to make ends meet, Smiley Sam would be at the door to greet him every day after work. A big smile on his face and a hug after a long day of work reminded his father to keep trying. And when his mother would leave for weeks at a time, he would entertain his older siblings by singing and dancing along to their mothers records. Spinning and grooving with them, and smiling all the way.

Of course he has his bad days too, but even when there are tears he looks into the mirror, smiles, and reminds himself that the sun will always come back up. Sam’s smile never leaves his cheeks sore at the end of the day, and when it’s finally time to rest you can still see the edges of his lips turned up slightly while he dreams.
